9H: Short Story Review Assignment

Write a brief paragarph reflecting on your writing.  Comment on your strengths, weaknesses, steps you could take to improve, etc.

Identify and revise five specific errors.
- Write the sentence/sentences in the original form.  Highlight or annotate the error.
- Rewrite the sentence, correcting the error.

1. A)  The boy was sick, he was dying.  (THIS IS A RUN-ON SENTENCE.)
    B)  The boy was sick. He was dying.

2. A) I saw the man that robbed me.  (I CONFUSED THAT AND WHO.)
    B) I saw the man WHO robbed me.
